Andy Thomason
Managing Director
Andy is a pragmatic, experienced senior manager and natural leader who values safety, wellbeing, quality and successful outcomes. With significant inter-continental experience, Andy has gained considerable hands on knowledge essential to project delivery, supply chain and partnerships while working alongside multi-cultural workforces and environments.
With a passion and care for value engineering, innovation and sustainability, Andy possesses natural strategic ability striving for win-win outcomes. He actively encourages and leads positive change through inspirational thought, improvements or simply better ways of doing things.
His working career began as an Apprentice Electrician back in 1980, and he has since been fortunate to gain considerable engineering, commercial and management skills traversing many international projects, principally within the power generation, power distribution & transmission, mining, oil & gas and utility infrastructure sectors.
Martin Hughes
Commercial & Operations
With over 15 years construction industry engineering, project, commercial and operations management experience in the UK and over 13 years in NZ in senior operational roles. Martin has worked across a variety of contract models ranging from hard dollar to target cost, cost reimbursable, construct only to design, construct and commissioning.
His experience covers the delivery of transport (road and rail), utilities, water (water treatment, wastewater treatment, pipelines), piling, coastal defence, subdivision projects with a particular focus on operations and commercial management including estimating.
